A former quant, Sarah founded Seek AI in 2021. Sarah most recently led the consumer data team at Citadel's Ashler Capital. Prior to joining Citadel, Sarah led enterprise data product development at two startups, Edison and Predata, which both exited. Sarah started her career as a quant at ITG developing algorithmic trading strategies. Sarah has a Master in Finance degree from Princeton and dual Bachelor's degrees in Astrophysics and Business Economics from UCLA.

A sales leader passionate about building the revenue function within a startup, Sarah Smith first joined Seek AI in the fall of 2021 as an advisor and then as the Chief Revenue Officer in the Spring of 2022. Most recently, she built out the sales efforts for the financial services vertical at the tech startup Edison Software, later acquired by YipitData, now a tech unicorn. At Seek AI, she is focused on identifying opportunities for long-term revenue growth and maximizing profitability.

An engineering leader with 10+ years of experience building data analytics and business intelligence software, José is responsible for overseeing the architecture, development, and security of Seek AI’s web platform and products, managing the engineering organization and leading all aspects of the development lifecycle. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Engineering at Numerator (acquired by Kantar), and has previously worked at Oracle and GE Healthcare. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Raz joined Seek AI in March 2022 as the founding NLP Research Scientist and then as Director of AI Research in March 2023. Prior to Seek, they worked on research in lexical semantic change detection and NLP applications for indigenous and low-resource languages. At Seek, Raz is interested in how semantic parsing and computational pragmatics may be employed to answer valuable business questions. Raz holds a MS in Computational Linguistics from Montclair State University and a BA in Philosophy and History of Mathematics from St John’s College.

Bridges Smith is Head of Product at Seek AI and a proven product leader with an extensive track-record of conceiving, building, and deploying high-value software solutions globally. He has rich experience in machine learning and AI, SaaS solutions, enterprise brands, and has led teams scaling over 100 people across diverse countries, cultures, and time zones. Outside of work Bridges is a volunteer firefighter and EMT and holds a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Bonnie has previous experience at high growth startups and public companies with a successful track record of building, implementing, and aligning business objectives with employees and management. She most recently led efforts on the People Operations side at YipitData. Previously she led PeopleOps and Business Operations teams at Edison Software, which was acquired by YipitData. She led the People Ops team at Bevocal, and once they were acquired by Nuance Communications, she worked in the Office of the CEO as the Project Manager.

Alison joined Seek as the Sr. Director of Sales and works with our enterprise accounts. Most recently, Alison led the sales effort for the corporate vertical at the tech startup Edison Software, later acquired by YipitData. Edison is where Alison met both Sarah Nagy and Sarah Smith. Alison has had many experiences at various startups and also at Nuance (acquired by Microsoft). Alison is also an accomplished artistic swimmer (formerly known as synchronized swimming). She represented the United States Synchronized Swimming Team in the 2004 Olympic Games and earned double bronze medals in the duet and team events!

Sean is a director of sales at Seek and works with enterprise clients. Sean has a background working for high growth startups as well as global systems integrators. Most recently, Sean was working with enterprise customers at startup called Anomalo which focuses on applying machine learning to solve data quality problems. Throughout his career Sean has helped companies large and small implement modern data platforms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Jordan is a graduate from the Grace Hopper Program — a competitive software development immersive whose mission is to make tech careers accessible to women+. After excelling in the program, Jordan joined Seek AI in May 2022 as the first Software Engineer Intern and has since been promoted to full-time Software Engineer. A self-starter, she has made several key contributions to the frontend and backend development of the Seek platform. In her spare time, she is an active member of the Blacks in Technology Foundation.

Joseph is a graduate of St. John’s College, where he fostered his ability and passion for creative thinking and front-end engineering. After graduating, Joseph served as QA lead and developer for several applications. The impact of these applications ranged all the way from nationwide, in the grants management space, to an individual level, in personal health tracking. Since joining Seek, Joseph has contributed to Seek’s continually evolving web application.

Clara is a curious data analyst who joined Seek AI in June 2023. Her current focus is to help develop the company's AI-powered SQL generation for our customers, having faced the very issues they face in her prior roles as a data analyst for several companies. Clara is passionate about making STEM accessible, and previously founded multiple organizations: one at her alma mater University of California, Santa Barbara for underrepresented groups in physics, and later at her grad school at Georgia Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Clara is a lover of travel and languages (including scripting languages)!

Utkarsh is a graduate student in Computer Engineering with a focus in Machine Learning at NYU. Utkarsh is originally from India and prior to joining Seek has worked in the field of VR for Cosm Immersive and developed live streaming applications. As a NLP researcher at Seek, Utkarsh will be focused on leveraging Large Language Models to understand and automate answering business queries.

Graduating with a degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh last year, Reilly joined Seek AI in October 2022. While attending university he co-founded a successful events management company in addition to working as a Software Engineer and Data Scientist. At Seek he is focusing on NLP Research and Engineering, helping to build the foundation of our products.

Erik joined Seek in early 2023 as a Research Scientist. He works on reinforcement learning and evaluation in service of generating useful code with language models. Prior to Seek, he researched counterfactual reinforcement learning in the CausalAI lab at Columbia University, researched reinforcement learning for equity trading at Columbia Business School, and built a product for the census bureau. He holds undergraduate degrees in pure and applied math, as well as a master's degree in machine learning from Columbia. He plays a lot of chess and basketball, but never at the same time.

Zach is a Sr. Machine Learning Operations Engineer ensuring that the Machine Learning team at Seek is building scalable AI/ML services via repeatable patterns. He has a passion for data and has worked in a variety of industries including finance, capital markets, and supply chain. Zach has experience as both an individual contributor and leader in the data analytics, data science, and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) spaces. Zach earned his Masters degree in Data Analytics from Penn State and his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University.

Eric is a UI/UX designer who does all things design-related. At Seek he has worked on projects from app interfaces to animations. A graduate of RISD, Eric has a bachelor in Industrial Design and a concentration in creative coding. He was recently a researcher at RISD + Hyundai Research Collaborative where he worked on soft robotics and biomaterials. As a designer, Eric has a passion for multi-disciplinary problem-solving.

Nick is an Account Executive of sales at Seek and works with enterprise clients. Nick has a background working in sales and business development. Before joining Seek, he held the role of Sales Director at FloorFound and SmarterX, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the industry landscape. Before that, Nick excelled as a Data and AI Account Executive at IBM, where he honed his expertise in technology solutions and client relationship management. Nick is an alumnus of Texas Tech University and currently residing in Austin.

Drew is a well-versed and proven Sales Development Representative. He has built the outbound program and generated millions in sales pipeline for many companies including Vercel, Census, and Amplemarket. In his role at Seek he is helping to establish an outbound process and generate new business to help the company grow. Outside of work he enjoys gaming, discovering new music, binge watching movies and tv shows, and spending time with friends and family.

Claire is a Group Leader at the University of Tuebingen, in the Cluster of Excellence Machine Learning for Science. She was awarded an Emmy Noether award under the AI Initiative call in 2022. Her research is on sequential decision making. It mostly spans bandit problems, and theoretical Reinforcement Learning, but her research interests extend to Learning Theory and principled learning algorithms. While keeping in mind concrete problems, she focuses on theoretical approaches, aiming for provably optimal algorithms. Previously, she was a Research Scientist at DeepMind in London UK since November 2018 in the Foundations team lead by Prof. Csaba Szepesvari. She did a post-doc in 2018 with Prof. Alexandra Carpentier at the University of Magdeburg in Germany while working part-time as an Applied Scientist at Amazon in Berlin. She received her PhD from Telecom ParisTech in October 2017, under the guidance of Prof. Olivier Cappé.

Panos Ipeirotis is a Professor and George A. Kellner Faculty Fellow at the Department of Technology, Operations, and Statistics at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University. His research focuses in the areas of crowdsourcing, machine learning, web data management, and social media analytics. He is widely regarded as the world's leading expert in building human-machine loop systems, that integrate human and machine intelligence to generate outcomes that are better than what humans alone or machines alone can achieve. He has also received more than ten “Best Paper” awards and nominations, and a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation. For his contributions in the field of social media, user-generated content, and crowdsourcing, he received the 2015 Lagrange Prize in Complex Systems.
