Seek AI x Plug and Play Enterprise Tech

🥳We are incredibly excited to announce that Seek AI has been accepted to the Plug and Play Spring 2023 Enterprise Tech Program!🥳

Plug and Play Tech Center đź’»

Plug and Play is a global innovation platform that brings together world-class startups, corporations and investment partners to create a unique ecosystem to drive technological innovation and growth. Consisting of 50,000+ startups, 500+ leading corporations and hundreds of venture capital firms and governmental agencies, the Plug and Play network covers a multitude of industries across over 30 locations around the world. After a careful selection process, the Plug and Play Innovation Programs span over a 12-week period, followed by an Expo Day where participating startups get a chance to present the progress they’ve made during the program.

This year, we’re thrilled to be part of Batch 11 along with 9 other amazing startups in the enterprise tech sector, participating in the open innovation platform for the next three months. This year’s program will conclude the week of June 6-8 with the Plug and Play Silicon Valley Summit, where over 145 batch startups (including us 🥳) across 16 industries will be presented.

Here at Seek, we are always looking for opportunities to expand our network, and to gain more insight into emerging trends and technologies— that’s why we are particularly excited to be a part of Plug and Play’s platform, and to attend the Silicon Valley Summit in June! Keep an eye out for further updates from us

With that being said, let’s get into the details of what participating in the Plug and Play Enterprise Tech Spring 2023 Program means for us 👇

Enterprise Tech and AI 🤖

Simply put, enterprise tech refers to the technology used by businesses in managing their data and operations to increase their profitability and productivity by streamlining workflows and automating processes.

At its core, enterprise tech accelerates digital transformation through the adoption of emerging technologies. Thus, naturally, much of the focus within the sector in the recent years has shifted towards utilizing rapidly growing technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

According to a recent study by Accenture, enterprise firms who use AI and ML at the maturity level, AKA the “AI Achievers”, yield greater revenue and growth on average when compared to their peers, and consistently outperform in customer experience.

While this study suggests that “AI Achievers” currently make up 12% of the enterprise application industry, this number is predicted to exponentially grow. The investment data into workflow automation companies who utilize AI and ML (👀👀👀) tell a similar story— artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation will (and already is) reshape and revolutionize enterprise technology.

What this means for Seek 🤔

The importance of automation in workflows, including deploying and scaling AI and ML models is widely acknowledged by those within the sector.

During the 2021 Plug and Play Enterprise Tech Webinar, Stefano Lindt (previously of c3.ai) noted that much of a data scientist’s time is still spent on low value tasks still, and that any tool that could automate these tasks would free up the time to focus on important tasks, driving better ROI— and that is the very pain point we set out to solve when we started Seek!

At Seek, we provide organizations with a natural language interface for data through using foundation models to build and maintain the semantic layer. Since day one, our vision has been to automate critical processes and workflows so that data stakeholders can get the data they need fast, and knowledge workers can focus on meaningful work. We believe that the current data workflow of many organizations can be manual and time time-consuming, with data teams spending hours manually typing code for tasks that require code generation. This not only results in long waiting times within organizations, and prevents teams from focusing on work that really matters.

The Seek Workflow™ offers an alternative solution to the current way businesses operate. By automating the mundane and repetitive tasks, we aim to help data teams focus on meaningful work, moving the needle the most within organizations.

We recognize that workflow automation is a crucial tool for modern businesses— it not only improves productivity and efficiency, but also ensures that employees focus on work that really matters, leading to data-driven decision-making, and ultimately better business outcomes. That’s why we believe that deploying rapidly growing technologies like AI and ML in building our product is crucial to be in the frontlines of the enterprise tech sector, and ultimately why we are so exited to take part in Plug and Play’s Innovation Program to work alongside other startups with a similar growth mindset.

Moving forward 🚀

Very exciting times are coming ahead!

Over the next 12-weeks, the Seek team will be attending mentorship, business model refinement, and pitch polishing sessions, working closely with Plug and Play’s corporate partners and venture capitals. We are looking forward to what is to come next, and will be sharing our progress across our channels— stay tuned 🤗
